BLM Co-Founder Calls for Criminal Justice System to Be ‘Abolished’
Patrisse Cullors says Chauvin trial was 'victory in accountability'
Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors has urged people to "fight" for an “abolished” criminal justice system following the shooting of Ma’Khia Bryant and the murder of George Floyd.
During an Instagram video, Cullors said the Derek Chauvin trial verdict was a “victory in accountability" but said it was not a victory in getting rid of the criminal justice system.
Cullors wrote in her Instagram post:
“While we watched Derek Chauvin be convicted for murder, a black child named Ma’Khia Bryant was murdered by police, proving there is no justice. We must fight for abolition because, in an abolitionist world, we would still have George Floyd and Ma’Khia Bryant."
She then urged activists to “fight for more” and “get us closer to a place where there are no jails or prisons or surveillance” in the U.S.
Chauvin was found guilty of all charges for murdering Floyd earlier this week.
A police officer fatally shot Bryant after brandishing a knife just minutes before Chauvin’s conviction.
Cullors faced backlash for buying four lavish homes totaling $3 million while promoting her activism.
Neon Nettle reported:
Self-described Marxist Cullors has come under fire for splashing out $1.4 million to buy the property in a posh area that is 88 percent white.
It's an interesting move for the race-baiting activist who frequently pays lip service to promoting black pride and investing in black communities.
The home is located in Topanga Canyon, an idyllic rustic neighborhood about 48 minutes outside of Los Angeles and less than 30 minutes from Malibu, according to Dirt.com.
But Cullors argued there was no conflict of interest with her left-wing politics.
Further reports indicate that the anti-capitalist activist is earning a fortune via her corporate consulting firm, which rides off the back of her lucrative activism career by training companies on how to be more "woke."
Conservative activist Candace Owens blasted Cullors' recent purchase of a Topanga Canyon, Calif., mansion, saying it proves she is the "trained Marxist" she claimed to be.
Owens said Khan-Cullors defines Marxism because they steal from others to enrich themselves.
"She has my respect because she's unapologetic in her approach," Owens told Tucker Carlson.
"She is telling you what she is -- she's a Marxist."
"Marxists steal money from other people, and they enrich themselves," Owens added.
"She has stolen money from other people on the pretext of a lie that is black lives matter, and she has enriched herself, and she has bought four homes."
