Kamala Harris Claims Americans 'Are Sleeping Better' Due To Joe Biden's 'Help'
'Help is here. Help is here'
Kamala Harris claimed Americans are “able to breath easier and sleep better” because of Joe Biden’s “help."
During a speech in North Carolina on Monday, Harris spoke to advance Biden’s $2.25 trillion infrastructure proposal at Guilford Technical Community College in Jamestown
She also touted Biden's so-called “help” that she believes is “delivering real, real relief.”
“Help is here. Help is here,” she reiterated.
“And hope is here, and things are looking up. Schools are reopening. Businesses are reopening. Grandparents are seeing their grandchildren in person,” Harris said.
“We are delivering real, real relief, and the American people are now able to breathe easier and sleep better."
"And we are not done. The president and I are ready to keep going, and we are not going to take it slow."
"And we are not going to take it one step at a time,” Harris said with a caveat.
“Nope. We are going to take a giant leap into the future,” she exclaimed.
Harris' remarks come as the Biden administration struggle with the infrastructure proposal and the backlash against the tax hike.
Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV), Sens. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ), Mark Warner (D-VA), and Jon Tester (D-MT) expressed concerns about raising the corporate tax rate to Biden’s proposed 28 percent, “which would only raise $600 billion over 15 years and leave a deficiency in Biden’s overall transportation proposal.”
And there is the border problem.
Donald Trump took aim at Biden and the ongoing border crisis, warning it could “destroy our country" if it is not fixed.
Trump was asked "how dangerous” the situation on the border and how the media would react if Trump were president and “cages” were “overflowing with kids in the middle of a pandemic.”
“They would not stand for it," Trump said."
"And they’re playing it down as much as they can play it down."
"It’s a horrible situation, could destroy our country,” Trump added.
