George Soros Group Joins 'Woke’ Corporations to Pressure Against Election Reforms
The corporate coalition seeks to sue states that pass such voting reforms
'Woke' multinational corporations and Wall Street firms are teaming up with left-wing billionaire George Soros-funded Brennan Justice Center to pressure states against election process reforms.
Following Georgia passing sweeping reform legislation to protect the state’s elections, corporate executives suggested they would boycott the state by moving business elsewhere.
Fortune 500 corporate executives, Wall Street firms, along with attorneys from some of the nation’s largest law offices, are working with Brennan Justice Center to stop lawmakers from passing similar election reforms.
The corporate coalition seeks to sue states that pass such voting reforms and threaten to pull their states' business endeavors.
As The New York Times reported:
Many of Wall Street’s most powerful firms are also part of the effort, including Simpson Thacher; Skadden Arps; Akin Gump; Cravath, Swaine & Moore; Ropes & Gray Sullivan & Cromwell; Weil, Gotshal & Manges, and Wachtel Lipton. [Emphasis added]
“We plan to challenge any election law that would impose unnecessary barriers on the right to vote and that would disenfranchise underrepresented groups in our country,” Mr. Karp said. [Emphasis added]
The firms will work with the nonprofit organization, the Brennan Center for Justice, to identify laws that might challenge the court.
This could included challenging the voting law that Republicans passed in Georgia, which caused an outcry from Democrats and 'woke' companies.
Over 100 corporate executives discussed the importance of publicly opposing election reform over the weekend.
That meeting including executives from:
- American Express
- Merck & Co
- Levi Strauss & Co
- And others
Head of the Republican Study Committee (RSC), Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN), has been lobbying GOP leaders to cut ties with corporations and Wall Street in favor of protecting working and middle-class interests against the encroachment of concentrated corporate power.

The Brennan Justice Center claims state lawmakers are promoting “voter suppressive bills” with provisions requiring voter ID for those voting via absentee ballot, increasing fines for state officials who refuse to clean up voter rolls, and prohibiting the mass unsolicited mailout of ballots.
The groups receive millions every year from Soros, big banks, and other left-wing organizations.
Last week, Joe Biden warned Georgia to "smarten up" and "stop" the state's election integrity law or risk losing more woke businesses.
Biden again sided with woke companies like Coca-Cola and Delta Air Lines over their misguided opposition to Georgia's new voting law.
Just last week, Biden was called out by his allies on the Left for telling an outright whopper of a lie about Georgia's new election reform measure.
Despite being corrected, he continued to push falsehoods about the law while speaking with reporters on Tuesday, again wrongly branding it the "new Jim Crow."
