Distressing video footage of numerous unaccompanied children at the Donna, Texas, Border Patrol facility was posted by House Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.), who said it was tantamount to “child abuse.”

Scalise wrote on Twitter:

“I visited the Donna processing facility yesterday."

"This is the devastating result of their disastrous left-wing immigration agenda."

"RT so everyone can see what they’re trying to hide. This is child abuse."

The video appeared to show hundreds of children packed next to each other covered in aluminum-style blankets in transparent pens.

“This is out of control. It’s the middle of the night," he said.

"We’ve seen dozens of children flow freely across the border in just the past few minutes."

The White House reached a deal with Mexico, Guatemala, and Honduras to stem illegal aliens' flow into the US.

Special assistant to Biden for immigration for the Domestic Policy Council, Tyler Moran, said they have “secured agreements” that would place “more troops on their” respective borders.

“Mexico, Honduras, and Guatemala have all agreed to do this,” Moran said.

“That not only is going to prevent the traffickers and the smugglers and cartels that take advantage of the kids on their way here but also to protect those children.”

Neon Nettle reported earlier this month:

The Biden administration has attempted to blame President Donald Trump for the spiraling border crisis after the latest illegal immigration figures show record numbers of migrant children have been found abandoned at the border.

In March alone, Border officials encountered 172,000 migrants at the border, a 71 percent increase from February.

The Republican governor of Texas, Greg Abbott, reacted to the reports of child abuse at the border by blaming the Biden administration.

Gov. Abbott says the White House is to blame for the child sex assaults and is demanding that the Biden administration shuts down the San Antonio facility at the center of the allegations.

"These problems are a byproduct of President Biden’s open border policies and the lack of planning for the fallout for those disastrous policies," Abbott told reporters.
