Border Patrol Arrests Child Rapists, Convicted Murderers Trying to Cross US Border
CBP highlights the surge of sex offenders crossing the U.S. border

United States Border Patrol has intercepted convicted murderers and child rapists trying to cross the Southern Border, according to reports.
At the San Diego sector of the border, agents intercepted a “35-year-old El Salvadorian national, had been convicted in 2009 for aggravated sexual battery of a child under 13 in Virginia.”
Customs and Border Protection (CBP) said:
“He was sentenced to 20 years in prison."
"The man was subsequently removed to El Salvador in 2014 after having a portion of his criminal sentence suspended."

CBP highlights the surge of sex offenders crossing the U.S. border, adding “in fiscal year 2021, which began October 1, SDC’s Border Patrol agents have arrested 31 sex offenders exceeding the 25 sex offenders arrested in San Diego Sector during the fiscal year 2020.”
Earlier this month, CBP officials encountered two illegal aliens, one of whom was convicted of second-degree murder in California in 2003.”
The Press release said:
“At that time, he had been tried, convicted, and sentenced to 15 years to life in prison."
"The man now faces new charges for illegal entry after being previously deported."

The news comes after Border Patrol announced that 861 criminals, including gang members and sex offenders, have been encountered at the border.
Chief Patrol Agent Brian Hastings wrote on Twitter:
“Within the copious amounts of groups being encountered in” the Rio Grande Valley sector in Texas.
“A Salvadoran man with a prior conviction for murder was discovered,” along with 862 criminal aliens.
According to Hastings, agents encountered five large groups of illegal immigrant families, adults, and unaccompanied minors, totaling 539.
