Kamala Harris Tapped by Biden to Fix Border Crisis Once Compared ICE to KKK

Kamala Harris, who Joe Biden has now appointed to fix the border crisis, once compared Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency, who she will now be working with, to the Ku Klux Klan.
Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) noted Harris's past comments on Friday, who also noted the Biden administration is not up to the task of fixing the crisis.
Johnson, who toured the Rio Grande Valley in Texas with other GOP Senators, briefed reporters on the border problem scale.
Johnson blasted Biden for giving Harris the job of fixing the crisis to Harris.
“While we are clear that people should not come to the border now, we also understand that we will enforce the law,” Harris said when she was appointed to her new role.

Sen. Johnson noted that Harris compared ICE to the KKK during a Senate Homeland Security Committee hearing in 2018.
"I saw how she asked questions of federal law enforcement, these people that we do need to thank and thank their families for their service and sacrifice. She was never interested in securing the border," Johnson said.
"Instead, what she did is she actually compared a federal law enforcement agency, ICE, to the Ku Klux Klan."
"Now that is a person President Biden has put in charge of solving this problem. How can you do that when you have to rely on the brave men and women of [ICE] … You’re putting a person in charge of the [ICE] efforts someone who has compared … [the agency’s] efforts to the Ku Klux Klan. I just don’t get it."

Today when discussing the border crisis, Joe Biden said of Kamala Harris, "When she speaks, she speaks for me."
Given Harris' far-left immigration positions, that should concern every American.

On Friday, Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz posted a video of a cramped migrant camp at the southern border along with human traffickers taunting Border Patrol agents from the Rio Grande.
“These are the Biden cages,” the Texas senator captioned a video of a cramped migrant camp.
“Thousands of kids, in the midst of a pandemic, crammed in at 1500% capacity. This is just one of the ‘pods’ at Donna,” he said.

Earlier this week, Republican Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey said Harris was "the worst possible choice” to manage the growing crisis and the U.S-Mexico border.
Ducey said during a speech at the University of Arizona:
“She’s about the worst possible choice that one could make."
“In no point in her career has she given any indication that she considers the border a problem or a serious threat.”
