Arizona Gov: Kamala Harris 'Worst Possible Choice' to Manage Biden's Border Crisis
Gov. Doug Ducey weighs in on surge at U.S border

Republican Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey slammed Kamala Harris, saying she was "the worst possible choice” to manage the growing crisis and the U.S-Mexico border.
Ducey said during a speech at the University of Arizona:
“She’s about the worst possible choice that one could make."
“In no point in her career has she given any indication that she considers the border a problem or a serious threat.”
Joe Biden said he asked Harris to lead the response to the migration crisis on Tuesday.
“If President Biden’s intent was to show that he’s taking this issue seriously, he’s really done the exact opposite here,” Ducey said.

“He’s completely trivialized this issue by putting someone in charge who flat-out just doesn’t care,” he added.
Earlier this month, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas defended Biden's approach to the border crisis, saying it was 'difficult.'
But he also admitted the number of migrants coming through the border is on track to be the highest number in 20 years.
Harris also faced backlash after laughing when a reporter asked if she planned to visit the southern border.
"Kamala Harris laughs at a reporter who asked her if she has plans to visit the border. Don’t believe this administration when they say they are serious about solving this crisis," Rep. Steve Scalise, R-La., wrote on Twitter on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador said due to Biden pushing pro-mass-migration policies; he had created the border crisis.

Speaking Tuesday, Mexico's liberal president blamed the border crisis on the Biden administration’s messaging on immigration, which he said created “expectations” among would-be migrants.
"Expectations were created that with the Government of President Biden, there would be a better treatment of migrants," Lopez Obrador said.
"And this has caused Central American migrants, and also from our country, wanting to cross the border thinking that it is easier to do so."
Neon Nettle reported on Wednesday that migrant children were being held in cage-like border facilities for over a week beyond the maximum legal limit.
The leak from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) was obtained by Axios and showed thousands of migrant kids are being held in overcrowded facilities.
The docs reveal that 823 minors have been kept in the "cages" for over ten days.
