Biden Blocks Senior DHS Officials from Sharing Border Crisis Info with Media
Media blackout on the crisis at the border

Joe Biden has ordered the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to limit any media communication about the growing crisis at the border.
A senior-level law enforcement source told Breitbart they had received verbal orders on speaking to reporters.
The official, who spoke under the condition of anonymity due to not being authorized to speak on the matter, said:
“The situation with media relations now is night and day compared to the last administration."
“We have been advised not to speak on immigration issues at the border and to rely on DHS’s Office of Public Affairs and the Whitehouse Press Office to handle messaging.”
The verbal order applies to senior law enforcement leaders within DHS.

The news comes as the Biden administration struggles to handle the crisis amid border security and immigration policy changes, which led to a spike in illegal crossings.
The huge influx of migrants has put a massive strain on local communities as Biden faces backlash even within his own ranks.
Democratic U.S. Representative Henry Cuellar said:
“I can tell you this, those numbers of people that are being released, they’re purposely withholding that information.”
“I now know that they’re bringing people from McAllen over to Laredo, processing them in Laredo, and they’re going to release them in my community,” the Laredo congressman said.
“I’ve seen this before, don’t let the local communities know what you’re doing, where they’re starting to bring people in from the valley, process them in Laredo, release them at a bus station. And, again, I’ve seen this before in the past.”

The verbal order is designed to prevent senior leaders from revealing the truth of the immigration situation.
Last week, Neon Nettle reported Biden was planning child migrant shelters to fill to full capacity by dropping the previous limit, which was 50% amid COVID-19 precautions.
The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) drafted a memo that would allow them to fill to 100% capacity, telling them to "plan for and expect to have COVID-19 cases" Axios reported.
Sheriff Mark Dannels of Cochise County, Arizona, spoke out against Biden's boder policies, saying it is "wide open for cartels," putting Americans in danger.
"When President Biden rescinded the emergency order on the southwest border, it stopped resources and stopped construction on our border," the sheriff told "Fox & Friends" on Friday.
"As a result of that one area where the fence is not complete, we get five or six groups a day coming across there."
"This administration owns this decision," he added.
"And what it’s doing is, is forcing us back to 2019, when we had the largest, what I call, crime scene in the country to include the largest humanitarian situation going on."
Dannels added he believes the administration’s decision is politically motivated.
"It’s a product of politics within policing," he said.
"And I’ve always said that they had no business in our business, in the business of policing what we do on this border in our communities."
