Democrat Mayor Begs Biden to Stop Releasing Illegal Aliens into Texas
Texas border mayor, Bruno Lozano, pleads with Biden

Texas border mayor Bruno Lozano, a Democrat, is begging Joe Biden to cease releasing illegal immigrants into his town, which is already struggling under extreme winter weather conditions.
Lozano pleaded with Biden amid the influx of undocumented migrants entering the town as residents face a battle to survive the deadly winter storm.
In a video message to Biden, Lozano said:
"I am pleading and requesting with you to please put a halt to any measures regarding the release of immigrants awaiting court dates, into the city of Del Rio and surrounding areas."
The small town, which is home to 50,000 residents, is unable to keep up due to the massive influx of undocumented migrants being released by Border Patrol.
Winter storm left 3 million people in Texas without power.

Meanwhile, water resources have been jeopardized as 7 million have been advised to boil water before any consumption – including those in Del Rio.
"If you do send these individuals into our community, we will be forced to make a decision to leave them without resources under these dire circumstances," the mayor said.

"Please make another plan for this federal issue," he pleaded.
The border mayor suggested the Biden administration supply means to "accommodate" migrants "safely under these extreme circumstances."
He added his town is in dire need of supplies, water, and "an equal distribution of power" throughout Del Rio.

"We have been outsourcing dialysis treatments for at-need persons within our community," he said.
Lozano said "releasing the migrant population without any COVID-19 protocols is undermining" the administration's commitment to tackling the coronavirus pandemic.
The city is currently relying on municipal buildings to house its own citizens and distribute vaccines as well.
"I cannot mix the migrant population with Del Rio residents that are extremely vulnerable and have been displaced due to the extreme weather," he said.
"We may be a small town that is off of your radar, but we are a community of 50,000 people who need your attention."
The news comes as congressional Democrats prepare to introduce a new Biden-backed bill to offer a pathway to citizenship for millions of illegal aliens.
Democrats are unveiling the "U.S. Citizenship Act of 2021" on Thursday, but the plan faces tough odds in the Senate.
