British actor and Borat star Sacha Baron Cohen admitted the aim of 'Borat 2' was to “deliver a message” on the “dangers of voting for Trump.”

Cohen, who starred as a journalist from Kazakhstan in the film's sequel, focused primarily on President Donald Trump and his supporters.

In a recent interview with the Sun about the film, Cohen admitted the timing of the release was to send a message to the American people about Trump.

“The aim of the movie is to deliver a message," Cohen said.

"That’s the reason why Borat came out when it did,” he explained.

“I thought the thing I can do to warn people is to use my funniest character, my most popular character, to show what I thought the dangers of voting for Trump were."

"I felt democracy was at a very dangerous point,” Cohen continued.

“There’s nothing up next. It’s been a busy year," Cohen added.

"Donald Trump is out, and I want a break,” The Dictator actor said.

Cohen has been a vocal critic of Trump over the last four years and recently called for him to be removed from social media platforms.

Cohen said Trump's ban from his personal Twitter and Facebook accounts is “the most important moment in the history of social media."

The Hollywood pro-censorship activist claimed that “the whole world” thanked Big Tech for deplatforming Trump, forgetting the president had 75 million Americans vote for him in the 2020 election.

“This is the most important moment in the history of social media,” Cohen wrote.

“The world’s largest platforms have banned the world’s biggest purveyor of lies, conspiracies, and hate.”

“To every Facebook and Twitter employee, user, and advocate who fought for this — the entire world thanks you!”
