The tweet included a meme of himself running with a message that read:
“Headed to deprogramming to woop some ass.”
Kid Rock's comments come after Democrats called for Trump supporters to be “deprogrammed” using World War II reconstruction tactics.
Democratic National Convention member David Atkins tweeted:
“No seriously…how *do* you deprogram 75 million people."
“Where do you start? Fox? Facebook? We have to start thinking in terms of post-WWII Germany or Japan. Or the failures of Reconstruction in the South.”

Washington Post columnist Eugene Robinson also had the same notion.

“We have, there are millions of Americans, almost all white, almost all Republicans, who somehow need to be deprogrammed,” Robinson asked.
“It’s as if they are members of a cult, the Trump-ist cult, and have to be deprogrammed. Do you have any idea how we start that process, much less complete it?”

CNN host Don Lemon also suggested last year that Trump supporters be “deprogrammed."
The anti-Trump host decried supporters, likening them to a “cult."
“If I had a real friend, who was involved in a cult, which I feel it is cultish behavior, I must try to help them,” Lemon said.
“And you only go so far until you say, until you reach bottom, I cannot deal with it. It’s like an addiction."
“Until you reach bottom and you want help, I can’t deal with it,” Lemon continued.
