Biden Team Already in Talks on Returning to Nuclear Deal with Iran
Biden officials have also updated Israel about the conversations

Joe Biden's team is reportedly already in talks to return to the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran, according to an Israeli TV station.
Biden officials have also updated Israel about the conversations, Channel 12 News reported.
Meanwhile, Israel is reported to be suspicious of Biden’s promise to return to the deal, and is crafting military options to “undermine Iran’s nuclear efforts or, if need be, counter Iranian aggression, which will soon be presented to the government.”
The paper quoted Defense Minister Benny Gantz as saying:
“Israel needs to have a military option on the table.”

President Donald Trump withdrew from the deal with Iran in 2018 and has since imposed crippling sanctions on Tehran.
In the past, Israel has threatened to act militarily to prevent Iran from acquiring the bomb during the Obama administration.
France’s Foreign Minister Jean Yves Le Drian warned Iran's goal was to acquire nuclear weapons and blame Trump for quitting the deal.
“The Trump administration chose what it called the maximum pressure campaign on Iran."
"The result was that this strategy only increased the risk and the threat,” Le Drian told the Journal du Dimanche newspaper.

“This has to stop because Iran and – I say this clearly – is in the process of acquiring nuclear [weapons] capacity,” he said.
Last week, Netanyahu warned against returning to the deal.
“If we just go back to the JCPOA, what will happen and may already be happening is that many other countries in the Middle East will rush to arm themselves with nuclear weapons."
"That is a nightmare, and that is folly. It should not happen,” Netanyahu said.
Neon Nettle reported last year that Obama granted amnesty to Iranian terrorist Gen. Qassem Soleimani as part of the "historic" 2015 Iran Deal.
The Obama Administration removed Soleimani from a list of Iranian outlaws and other leaders of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, according to a 2015 article in The Telegraph.
In the July 15 report by the left-leaning newspaper, Defence Editor Con Coughlin declared that Iranian General Soleimani "fully deserves his reputation as one of the world’s leading terrorist masterminds."
For over a decade, he has been the driving force behind an array of Iranian-sponsored terrorist groups, from Hizbollah to Hamas, which have orchestrated a reign of terror throughout the Middle East, the report.
