Democrat Pressley: Republicans Engaged in 'Chemical Warfare' by Not Wearing Masks
'It's criminal behavior,' Rep. Ayanna Pressley claims

Democratic Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., accused Republicans of being engaged in "chemical warfare" for not wearing masks while sheltering during last week's Capitol riots.
"It's criminal behavior," she told CNN's Don Lemon.
"They have been complicit from the very beginning in their willful criminality to carry the water for Donald Trump and these science denials which allowed this pandemic to rage out of control."
"And then by refusing to wear the masks, this is criminal behavior."
"That's chemical warfare so far as I'm concerned."

"Squad" member Pressley was furious with House Republicans who did not wear masks as they hid in a safe room as rioters breached the Capitol building.

Pressley's husband Conan Harris who was with her on Jan. 6, has since tested positive for the coronavirus.
Three other Democrats who were in the room with Pressley have tested positive for COVID-19.
Pressley claimed she saw maskless members inside as well.
"The second I realized our 'safe room' from the violent white supremacist mob included treasonous, white supremacist, anti masker Members of Congress who incited the mob in the first place, I exited."

"Furious that more of my colleagues by the day are testing positive," she tweeted on Tuesday.

Pressley is currently co-sponsoring a resolution with Rep. Cori Bush, D-Mo., to expel members for not wearing masks during the siege.
Earlier this week, Democrat Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) alleged, without evidence, that she contracted the Chinese virus because her Republican colleagues refused to wear masks.
Jayapal took to Twitter early Tuesday to announce that she has been diagnosed with the coronavirus and to blame GOP reps and President Donald Trump (of course) for her condition.
She excoriated several Republicans locked down with her during last week’s riot at the U.S. Capitol who did not wear masks.
I just received a positive COVID-19 test result after being locked down in a secured room at the Capitol where several Republicans not only cruelly refused to wear a mask but recklessly mocked colleagues and staff who offered them one.https://t.co/wVmgroKsdf
