AOC: 'Liberation of Southern States' from GOP Control Will Heal America
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claims Southern states are 'suppressed'

Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., has suggested that Southern states need to be "liberated" from GOP control.
During an over one-hour-long live stream on Facebook-owned Instagram, which recently banned President Donald Trump, AOC called for GOP Senators Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley to resign for opposing the certification of Joe Biden.
She then highlighted the "multi-racial" and "multi-cultural" grassroots organization in Georgia that led to her part regaining control of the Senate as a sign that "southern states" are suppressed.
"Which means the only way that our country's going to heal is through the actual liberation of southern states," Ocasio-Cortez told her 8.3 million Instagram followers.
"The actual liberation of the poor, the actual liberation of working people from economic, social, and racial oppression.
"That's the only way."

Ocasio-Cortez has been attacking Cruz since the Capitol building riots, accusing him of trying to fundraise off his election challenge as the riot was ongoing.
She also claimed that "half of the House" was "close" to "nearly dying" during the riots.
Ocasio-Cortez, who defended last Summer's violent radical-left rioting, stated her case Sunday for impeaching President Donald Trump.

Trump should be removed from office with a “complete barring” from ever being allowed to run for office again, AOC declared.
On ABC News, the socialist "Squad" leader said Trump is a “clear and present danger” to Congress and to the United States as a whole.
Earlier this week, AOC responded to the recent purge of conservative Twitter accounts, and most notably former White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders' claims she lost tens of thousands of Twitter followers.
