Ilhan Omar Prepares Articles of Impeachment Against Trump
Radical Democrat is drawing up articles to impeach president and 'save the republic'

Far-left Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) is demanding President Donald Trump's impeachment to "save the Republic."
Omar, a member of AOC's "Squad" of radical Democrats, announced that she is drawing up articles of impeachment against President Trump.
The Minnesota lawmaker argues that the president needs to be “removed from office.”
“I am drawing up Articles of Impeachment. Donald J. Trump should be impeached by the House of Representatives & removed from office by the United States Senate,” Omar tweeted Wednesday.
“We can’t allow him to remain in office, it’s a matter of preserving our Republic and we need to fulfill our oath” she added.
Omar’s tweet comes moments after President Trump called for "peace" and urged his supporters to “go home” after protesters swarmed the U.S. Capitol to disrupt Congress’s certification of the 2020 electoral college results.

“I know your pain. I know your hurt,” said President Trump.
"We had an election stolen from us.
“But you have to go home now,” he added.
“We have to have peace. We have to have law and order.”
Rep. Omar’s tweet also arrives in the wake of the Senate runoff elections in Georgia, which appear to have ended up putting Democrats in control of the U.S. Senate, according to Breitbart.

Donald J. Trump should be impeached by the House of Representatives & removed from office by the United States Senate.
We can’t allow him to remain in office, it’s a matter of preserving our Republic and we need to fulfill our oath.
Last year, President Trump was cleared by the U.S. Senate of all charges in his impeachment trial.

Early this week, also called for President Trump’s impeachment over leaked audio recordings of a phone call he made with a Georgia official.
The recording reveals that President Trump requested that GA Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger fully investigates allegations of voter fraud in his state.
Omar cited the U.S. Constitution, claiming it does not "make exceptions" for individuals based on the amount of time they had left in office.
The radical lawmaker claimed that the president must be held accountable for efforts to "overthrow our democracy."
"The president’s effort to openly overturn our election results by putting pressure on the Republican Secretary of State of Georgia is a crime, plain and simple," Omar said in a statement.
"The constitutional remedy for a high crime and misdemeanor committed by the president of the United States is clear: impeachment."
"The President and his collaborators become more emboldened when they are not held accountable for their crimes," Rep. Omar alleged on Twitter.
