Gov Brian Kemp Orders Full Signature Audit of Georgia Results
Governor says evidence from Senate Government Oversight Committee hearing is 'concerning'

Gov. Brian Kemp (R-GA) has ordered a full signature audit of Georgia's results, warning that evidence emerging from the state's Senate Government Oversight Committee hearing is "concerning."
The Republican governor joined the Trump campaign’s call for signature verification following allegations of election fraud in the presidential race.
Kemp has now called on Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, also a Republican, to ensure that the signatures on mail-in ballot requests match the ballots returned by the voter.
“I called early on for a signature audit,” Kemp revealed.
“Obviously the Secretary of State, per the laws in the Constitution, would have to order that. He has not done that.”
“I think it should be done, there needs to be transparency on that," Kemp added as he doubled down.

"I would again call for that, and I think in the next 24 hours, hopefully, we’ll see a lot more from the hearings the legislature had today, and we’ll be able to see what the next steps are,” Gov. Kemp added.
Kemp made the announcement Thursday night during an interview on Fox News.

Kemp slammed attorney Lin Wood, an alleged Trump supporter who has an extensive history supporting Democrats.

Wood has triggered outrage from many conservatives by encouraging people to not vote in the upcoming Senate runoff elections.
“It’s like Lin Wood saying today, urging the people not to go vote in this election — all that is gonna do is give the Democrats everything they want,” Kemp said.
“It’s gonna give the radicals everything they want.
"This is literally the firewall," he continued.
"So, I think we all have to pull together and figure out what have we got to do to assure people that their vote’s gonna count.
"I believe that it will; that’s why I’m working so hard for David and Kelly, and I’m going to continue to do that.”
