Trump Lawyer Jenna Ellis Targeted with ‘Rape’ Threats
Legal advisor said she received 'hundreds of DMs and messages'

According to reports, President Donald Trump's lawyer, Jenna Ellis, has received threats in the form of late-night phone calls from unfamiliar numbers.
Ellis has also received public calls for her disbarment, she told Breitbart News.
The Trump legal advisor said she received “hundreds of DMs and messages etc., threatening me.”
Other more public threats included calls to have her disbarred and encouraging the public to file Bar complaints.
“CNN reporter messaged today accusing me of my bar license being lapsed," she added.
"Unknown number has called my cell dozens of times between midnight and 4 am to blow up my phone and try to get through the DND [do not disturb].”

“You’re a f**king c**t. You’re the reason people despise humanity.
"You deserved to be raped.”
Meanwhile, other Trump attorneys faced harassment, including by the Lincoln Project, a group of Never Trump Republicans who encouraged the harassment of law firms taking up the president’s case.
The Washington Post even defended such efforts in an op-ed on Nov. 12 titled “Yes, going after Trump’s law firms is fair game.”

Last week, Trump's campaign lawyer was placed under official protection following threats.
The filing says that Philadelphia lawyer Linda Kerns was "the subject of threats of harm, to the point at which the involvement of police and US Marshals has been necessary to provide for her safety."
The news comes after Kerns sought sanctions against a lawyer from the firm representing Pennsylvania Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar for leaving her an “abusive voicemail” on Saturday night.
Former Vice President Joe Biden has remained silent about threats against Trump’s legal team, as scholar Jonathan Turley has noted.
...While Biden called for unity and healing, he has said nothing about the campaign against Trump lawyers and their clients. No law firms or lawyers have publicly withdrawn their support for the Lincoln Project. The silence speaks loudly to our loss of civility and decency.

“When such actions were taken against lawyers representing civil rights groups and others in the 1960s, it was correctly denounced as an outrageous abuse of our legal system,” Turley tweeted this week.
“Now it has become a campaign supported by politicians, lawyers, and the media.”
