President Trump Pardons Michael Flynn
Former National Security Advisor legal saga comes to end

President Donald Trump has pardoned former National Security Advisor, Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn.
“It is my Great Honor to announce that General Michael T. Flynn has been granted a Full Pardon. Congratulations to @GenFlynn and his wonderful family, I know you will now have a truly fantastic Thanksgiving!” Trump tweeted.

Flynn ran into problems during the presidential transition in 2016.
The retired lieutenant general was jailed over allegations that he lied to the FBI about his Russian contacts during the 2016 general election.

Trump said earlier this year he would welcome Flynn back into his administration.
The President was asked if he would take Flynn back at the White House:
"I would. I think he's a great gentleman," Trump said.
"He's been in the military for many, many decades actually — highly respected."
