Don Lemon: Trump Supporters’ Grandkids 'Will See They're on Wrong Side of History'
Host takes aim at Trump supporters during broadcast
CNN anchor Don Lemon said that President Donald Trump's supporters would become "embarrassed" when they realize they've been on "the wrong side of history."
“I heard some folks on your air talking about how history is going to look back on this," Lemon began.
"I think a lot of people are going to be embarrassed overtime when they look back to say, how did I do that?"
"How did I fall for that? What happened to me?" Lemon continued.
"What was I thinking in that time? You may want to win. You may want —what do they call it?— Liberal tears, you may want all of that," he added.
"But your grandchildren and your kids will look back and say, what did grandpop do?"
"What did dad do? What did mom do in this moment?" Lemon asked.
"And realize you were on the wrong side of history and that you were possibly teaching them the wrong thing.”

Anchor Chris Cuomo chimed in:
“I see these people as having no shame in their game.”
“You will be surprised what happens to people when they are older and sadly when they are on their death bed.”
Lemon's comments come following a series of violent attacks on Trump supporters in Washington, which he failed to mention during his broadcast.
Earlier this year, Lemon suggested that Trump supporters needed to be re-educated and “deprogrammed" before voting.
The host decried supporters, likening them to “cult."
“If I had a real friend, who was involved in a cult, which I feel it is cultish behavior, I must try to help them,” Lemon said at the time.
