Hillary Gushes Over Kamala Harris: She's ‘Going to Be Terrific’ Vice President
Clinton ignores Joe Biden while praising his running mate
Twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton expressed excitement about the possibility of Sen. Kamala Harris becoming vice president in November.
Speaking with New York Times podcaster Kara Swisher, the former Secretary of State gushed over Harris.
“I’ve spent a lot of time talking to Kamala, and I think she’s going to be terrific," Clinton said.
"I can’t wait for her to be there," she added.
"I think that’s a huge step forward,” she said.
But Clinton did not have the same enthusiasm for Biden, only noting that she was sure he would win the Democrat primary.
But it seems that Harris has encouraged Clinton of the possibility of a female president.
“I mean, look, if Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are presidents and vice president, by definition, Kamala has a huge stage, a global stage,” Clinton said.
“And she’s young; she’s vibrant, dynamic. I think people are really going to be very drawn to her.”
Clinton then suspiciously looked at when Harris would ultimately run for president herself.
She assumed Biden would not serve a second term as president if he won the election in 2020.
“I think it’s natural to assume that when Biden doesn’t run again, or if he runs again and is not successful, that the person who is likely to step forward is the vice president,” she said about Harris.
“I mean, that kind of is the way things work.”
Clinton predicted the likely candidates for president in 2024 would be:
- Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA)
- Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY)
- Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN),
- and possibly Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer
Clinton added that the “glass ceiling” for a woman presidential candidate of a major political party was still there.
“I do know that it remains a challenge for women to break that highest and hardest glass ceiling,” Clinton said.
“In this past primary season, none of the women won any caucus or primary, and so this is not going to happen easily or quickly.”
But it seems that Clinton still hasn't got over her election defeat at the hands of Trump in 2016.

Clinton admitted the thought of another Trump win "make me sick to my stomach."
"It makes me literally sick to my stomach to think that we'd have four more years of this abuse and destruction of our institutions," Clinton blasted.
"And damaging of our norms and our values."
"And lessening of our leadership. And the list goes on," Hillary told journalist Kara Swisher while a guest on her podcast.
The 2016 election loser said she "can't entertain the idea of [Trump] winning" again in 2020.
