Joe Biden Snaps at Reporter Who Asks About Hunter Biden Emails - WATCH
Former vice president loses cool in face of explosive NY Post story

Former Vice Presiden Joe Biden refused to comment on the explosive emails obtained by the New York Post, which alleged direct links between him and his son, Hunter Biden, and their business dealings with Ukrainian gas conglomerate Burisma.
CBS Reporter Bo Erickson asked Biden about the story, which claimed Hunter introduced Burisma advisor, Vadym Pozharskyi, to then-VP Biden.
When the alleged meeting took place, Hunter was serving on the board of Burisma and getting paid tens of thousands of dollars each month.
“I know you’d ask it. I have no response," Biden snapped.
"It’s another smear campaign, right up your alley, those are the questions you always ask,” Biden replied.
CBS Reporters Ed O’Keefe and Paula Reid defended their colleague for questioning Biden.

Though the Biden campaign denied the former VP ever met Pozharskyi officially, it has not denied ever meeting the man.
Biden adopts Trump playbook - attacking pool reporter @BoKnowsNews for asking about Hunter Biden story which has been a focus of President Trump’s campaign over past few days. Fine to attack the story, but why personally insult Bo? https://t.co/PgOsLgu2DT

“We have reviewed Joe Biden’s official schedules from the time and no meeting, as alleged by the New York Post, ever took place,” Biden campaign spokesman Andrew Bates said in a statement, Politico reported.
“Biden’s campaign would not rule out the possibility that the former VP had some kind of informal interaction with Pozharskyi, which wouldn’t appear on Biden’s official schedule,” Politico added.
Senior Biden advisers, Michael Carpenter and Amos Hochstein admitted that Biden might have met the Burisma executive in an unofficial capacity.
Hunter’s work for Burisma raised eyebrows among some Obama-era officials who viewed it as a conflict of interest.

Hunter Biden serving on the Burisma board became the center of the Democrats' efforts to remove President Donald Trump from office during impeachment proceedings.
Hunter himself admitted in an ABC News interview that his father’s political position helped him secure the lucrative appointment to Burisma’s board.

In 2018, Joe Biden boasted about threatening to withhold $1 billion in U.S. loan guarantees to Ukraine as VP in 2016 if they failed to fire its top prosecutor.
Earlier this week, the Senate Homeland Security Committee launched an investigation into the bombshell batch of Hunter Biden's emails that was leaked from his laptop, saying they are seeking to "validate" information.
The contents of Hunter Biden's hard drive was provided by a computer store owner who says he copied data from his laptop after the former vice president's son sought repairs.
