Fmr Clinton Advisor on Election Outcome: 'I Anticipate Opening a Bottle of Champagne'
Democrat strategist James Carville predicts win for Joe Biden

Democratic strategist and former Clinton advisor James Carville predicted he would be celebrating the election outcome on November 4th during an appearance on MSNBC’s “The 11th Hour."
Carville explained he was not concerned about the prolonged election process, where an outcome could be uncertain for days, weeks, or months.
Carville said he anticipated a Democrat win for Joe Biden and control of both chambers of Congress, even going as far as boasting about cracking open a celebratory bottle of champagne.
“Not only are we going to know election night, we’re going to know at 10:30 Eastern,” he said.
“This thing is not going to be close. We’re going to know early," Carville added.
"I’m not in any panic whatsoever. I mean, I’m just on edge because the stakes are so high," he continued.

"But I feel very good about where the Democrats are," he stated.
"And I’ll probably see as much polling as anybody in the country. And if anything, it continues to improve," he argued.
"I kind of thought the natural gravity would take it down, but that doesn’t seem to be happening as of yet."

"And we’ve got three weeks before we go to post. I’m ready to go," Carville said.
"I think we’re going to know, and I anticipate opening a bottle of champagne.
"Brian, maybe I’ll share it with you by distance.”

Last month, Carvill claimed President Donald Trump was "desperate" and "knows he’s going to lose.”
"I mean, his inability to react or empathize with people is something staggering, and everybody’s trying to wonder why did he do this," Carville said.
"He’s desperate because he knows he’s going to lose, and when he loses quite frankly, in my opinion, he’s going to jail, and he knows that," he said at the time.
