Ilhan Omar Demands Biden Attacks Sick Trump: ‘Get it Together’
Minnesota Democrat attacks former vice president in tweet

Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota blasted presidential nominee Joe Biden for stalling on efforts to ramp us his campaign amid President Donald Trump's admission to the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
Omar said in a statement released on Twitter.
“Why would Biden delay or suspend his campaign when we know Trump would’ve had ads up by noon today ridiculing Biden for testing positive?” Omar wrote.
“Get it together.”

Get it together.
Biden offered public well-wishes to the president and First Lady Melania Trump following their coronavirus diagnosis.

“Jill and I send our thoughts to President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump for a swift recovery,” Biden wrote on Twitter.
“We will continue to pray for the health and safety of the president and his family.”

But the gesture made it hard for the Biden campaign to hold a consistent public face with numerous negative advertisements being run against the President.
“The VP can’t say, ‘God bless this family’ and then trash him in ads,” an unnamed Biden ally told The Hill.
According to sources, a decision to pull all negative ads about Trump was pulled following an hours-long debate inside the Biden campaign.
But political commentators argued that no such move was made as negative ads run by Biden continued to air.

While some wished death on Trump, other Democrats like filmmaker Michael Moore floated conspiracy theories, claiming Trump could be faking his positive COVID-19 test result to "gain sympathy" ahead of the November election.
“He’s an evil genius, and I raise the possibility of him lying about having COVID-19 to prepare us and counteract his game,” Moore said.
Omar also attacked Trump after he announced he contracted COVID-19 on Friday.
Omar said in a scathing statement posted on Friday:
"This week, the President held a rally and fundraiser in Minnesota, flouting the guidance of his own health agencies by failing to wear a mask," Omar said.
"In doing so, he exposed hundreds in a state that is already suffering from an uptick in cases," Omar added.
"Republican members of our Congressional delegation traveled with him on Air Force One and have not quarantined."
"In fact, they came to the Capitol today, risking the lives of additional elected leaders and staff," she continued.
