Gingrich Cut Off By Fox News After Exposing Soros’ Role in Electing Prosecutors
Former House speaker calls out left wing financier
Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich brought up the subject of left-wing financier George Soros' role in funding the election of prosecutors before being cut off by Fox News.
Gingrich highlighted that Soros had funded left-wing prosecutors in local races over the past several years.
He argued that the surging crimes in Democrat-governed cities were due to the election of left-wing district attorneys who were backed by Soros.
Commentators Melissa Francis and Marie Harf attempted to silence Gingrich following his assertion.
“Look, the number one problem in almost all these cities is George Soros-elected, left-wing, anti-police, pro-criminal district attorneys who refuse to keep people locked up,” Gingrich said.
“Just yesterday they put somebody back on the streets who’s wanted for two different murders in New York City.”
“You cannot solve this problem — and both [Kamala] Harris and [Joe] Biden have talked very proudly out what they call ‘progressive district attorneys’.
"Progressive district attorneys are anti-police, pro-criminal, and overwhelmingly elected with George Soros’s money."
This is one of the weirdest exchanges I’ve ever seen on TV. @newtgingrich correctly points out that George Soros threw an unprecedented amount of money into DA races all over the country to elect radicals and Fox News basically told him to shut up. “And they’re a major cause of the violence we’re seeing because they keep putting the violent criminals back on the street,” Gingrich said.
“I’m not sure we need to bring George Soros into this,” Francis replied.
“He paid for it,” Gingrich argued.
“I mean, why can’t we discuss that fact that millions of dollars….”.
“No he didn’t,” Harf interjected.
“I agree with Melissa. George Soros doesn’t need to be a part of this conversation.”
“Okay, so it’s verboten,” Gingrich said, using the German word for “forbidden.”
Neon Nettle reported last month that several district attorneys and liberal activists, who are being bankrolled by Soros, are pushing hard to dismantle America's police forces.
Calls for radical police and criminal justice reforms have spread nationwide since the country has been dominated by Black Lives Matter following the death of George Floyd.
Local prosecutors have already been making big waves on that front, however, showing that under-the-radar political investments made by progressive groups in recent years are now paying off.
Earlier this month, Gingrich warned that the Democratic Party has been bought with George Soros' money and no longer represents the interests of the American people.
Gingrich argued America is not in the midst of a “normal election.”
He said the Democrats are now “owned by the left” and at “war” with traditional American values.
"Well, all of these Democrats are now basically owned by the left,” Gingrich said.
"They are not going to pick any fights," he added.
"They are owned by people who are financed by George Soros."
