Ex-Clinton Advisor: ‘Desperate’ Trump Will ‘Lose’ Election and Go to Jail
Former strategist James Carville predicts landslide for Biden

Former Clinton advisor and strategist, James Carville, has claimed President Donald Trump decision to appear on tonight’s ABC News town hall shows he's "desperate" and "knows he’s going to lose.”
Carville, who recently predicted that Biden would win a landslide, said Trump has an "inability to react or empathize with people."
Carville said:
“I would get Michael Bloomberg to put up $500 million and run the actual town hall on television so everybody could see it."
"I mean, his inability to react or empathize with people is something staggering, and everybody’s trying to wonder why did he do this," he added.
"He’s desperate because he knows he’s going to lose, and when he loses quite frankly, in my opinion, he’s going to jail, and he knows that," Carville claimed.

"So why would he expose himself to a format that is completely ill-suited to him?" he asked.
“I mean it was quite remarkable and, you know, having worked with Bill Clinton is probably the best one-on-one politician that ever lived," he said.
"To watch him, the way that he reacts with people is just stunning," he continued.

"And as dismissive as he is with ordinary people, it’s really stunning maybe the 42% that are with him will stay, but, boy, he didn’t do himself any good tonight beyond that,” he added.
“I didn’t see it in any way, shape, or form.”

Last year, Carville expressed concerns with the mental state of many in the Democratic Party.
"I don't know," he said.
"We just had an election in 2018. We did great. We talked about everything we needed to talk about, and we won," he said at the time.
"And now it's like we're losing our damn minds."
Carville advised Hillary Clinton during her 2008 Democratic primary run.
He also predicted Clinton would win in a landslide in 2016 but was proven wrong.
Last month, Carville compared Trump to a "giant, infected wisdom tooth" that needs to be removed in 2020.
Carville declined to elaborate on whether a successful presidential bid by Joe Biden could redeem Hillary Clinton's failed 2016 campaign because he said he needed to remain focused on 2020.
"I’m going to, you know, dwell on all of my resentments after this election, but right now, I’ve just got one mission in life, and that is to help extract this giant, infected wisdom tooth that is, you know, hurting the body politic of this country," Carville said.
