SF Salon Owner 'Shutting Doors For Good' After Pelosi's Visit Destroyed Business

The owner of the now-infamous San Francisco hair salon, whose visit from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi caused a media frenzy, said her business is now destroyed and will be closing its doors.
Erica Kious told “Tucker Carlson Tonight" on Wednesday she had received nonstop hate since Pelosi's visit, which was not helped by the Hosue Speaker's accusations she was "set up" by the salon owner.
“I am actually done in San Francisco and closing my doors, unfortunately,” she announced.
Last week, a surveillance video was posted showing Pelosi visiting the salon for a hair wash and blowout, even though salons were closed in San Francisco at the time due to COVID-19.
Pelosi was caught walking around inside the salon without wearing a mask.

Kious said she had been vivaciously attacked since Pelosi's hypocrisy was exposed.

“I started to just get a ton of phone calls, text messages, emails, all my Yelp reviews… saying that they hope I go under and that I fail,” she said.
“So, just a lot of negativity towards my business.”
Kious added that she is now hesitant to return to San Francisco due to the negativity.
“I'm actually afraid to go back... It’s a little scary and sad,” she said.
“I do have a lot of positive calls and text messages from clients. But other than that, nothing but negativity."
Pelosi faced more backlash earlier this week after tweeting out a post celebrating the “hard-working families” on labor day, seemingly forgetting she had destroyed a single mom's small business a week prior.

President Donald Trump later signaled support for the salon owner in a tweet:
