Trump: Joe Biden is ‘Controlled’ By People in the ‘Dark Shadows’
'People that you’ve never heard of, people that are in the dark shadows'
President Donald Trump called Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden a “weak person” who is controlled by people in the “dark shadows."
Trump warned that a Justice Department investigation was currently underway into “some very stupid rich people” funding far-left mobs leading riots across the country.
“I don’t even like to mention Biden because he’s not controlling anything,” Trump said in an interview with Fox News host Laura Ingraham.
“They control him.”
When asked who was controlling Biden, Trump replied:
“People that you’ve never heard of, people that are in the dark shadows.”
“That sounds like conspiracy theory,” Ingraham replied.
“Dark shadows. What is that?”
The President said Biden's puppeteers were “people that you haven’t heard of” that were controlling the streets.
Trump also noted an incident where people plotted unrest during the Republican National Convention last week.
“We had somebody get on a plane from a certain city this weekend,” Trump said.
“And in the plane, it was almost completely loaded with thugs wearing these dark uniforms, black uniforms with gear and this and that. They’re on a plane.”
Trump added the incident was still under investigation.
“A lot of people were on the plane to do big damage,” Trump said.
The President added they were being funded from “some very stupid rich people.”
“[I]f their thing ever succeeded, which it won’t, they will be thrown to the wolves like you’ve never seen before,” he said.
On Monday, Biden blamed the ongoing violence in many Democratic-run cities on Trump.
Trump responded to Biden's claims:
“Portland’s been burning for many years, for decades it’s been burning,” he said about the city in Oregon.
“We sent in Homeland Security. The reason we sent in Homeland Security was to protect our courthouse."
"We have a $300 million courthouse, and they wanted to blow up our courthouse or burn it down,” Trump said of the protesters.
