Jim Jordan Praises Trump's Achievements: 'He’s Taken on the Swamp'
Trump has 'taken on the swamp, all of the swamp,'

Top Republican Rep. Jim Jordan has praised President Donald Trump, touting him as a tough outsider who cares about people.
Jordan, who is the founder of the ultraconservative House Freedom Caucus, said Trump has "taken on the swamp, all of the swamp,' during Monday's Republican National Convention.
While Democrats impeached Trump in December, Jordan led the defense of the president in Congress in a tireless effort against far-left attack.
Jordan spent Monday defending Postmaster General Louis DeJoy from more attacks from Democrats on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.
He said during his RNC speech that the president is pushing through the agenda he promised during his campaign.
The Republican noted Trump's firm stance despite relentless attacks from Democrats, who began investigating before he even took office.

“They tried the Russia hoax, the Mueller investigation, and the fake impeachment,” Jordan said.
“But in spite of this unbelievable opposition, this president has done what he said he would do — taxes cut, regulations reduced, economy growing, lowest unemployment in 50 years, out of the Iran deal, embassy in Jerusalem, hostages home from North Korea, a new USMCA agreement, and of course, he's building the wall and rebuilding our economy as we speak.""
"I love the president's intensity and his willingness to fight every day in Washington for our families.”

Jordan also noted most people never get to see the more human side of the president and recalled the story of the death of his nephew, a young man who was killed in a car accident.

Jordan said Trump got on the phone with the man’s parents.
“That’s the president I’ve gotten to know for the last four years,” Jordan said.
“The president has shared private moments like this with soldiers' families, victims of violent crime, and people who’ve had businesses destroyed by the mob."
"That’s the individual who’s made America great again and who knows America’s best days are still in front of us.”
Earlier this year, Trump vowed to "break the deep state," revealing that major players were "being exposed."
"I'm fighting the deep state. I'm fighting the swamp," Trump said at the time.
"And I said I was doing it. And I'm exposing the swamp."
