Rose McGowan Torches Biden, Dems: 'You are Monsters, Frauds'
#MeToo activist blasts Democrats following final night of DNC
#Metoo activist Rose McGowan has taken aim at former Vice President Joe Biden and the Democratic Party, describing them as "monsters" and "frauds" on the final day of the Democratic National Convention.
The actress, who earlier this year blasted Biden for his refusal to initially respond to sexual assault allegations recently levied by a former staffer Tara Reade, made her feelings about the former Democrat presidential nominee clear following his speech.
"Give people light. Those are words for our time," Biden said in his speech.
"The current president has cloaked America in darkness for much too long.
"Too much anger. Too much fear.
"Too much division," Biden added.
McGowan responded to Biden's remarks:
"You are the season of darkness. @JoeBiden @dnc You are monsters," McGowan said.
"You are frauds. You are the lie."
The actress also questioned the Democratic Party's ability to create change or give support in tackling racial inequality, police brutality, or economic issues.
"What have the Democrats done to solve ANYTHING? Help the poor? No. Help black & brown people? No," she wrote.
"Stop police brutality? No. Help single mothers? No. Help children? No. You have achieved nothing. NOTHING. Why did people vote Trump? Because of you motherf---kers," she added.
Earlier this month, McGowan blasted Joe Biden's running mate Sen. Kamala Harris for accepting past donations from convicted Hollywood rapist Harvey Weinstein.
Last year, McGowan sent out series of tweets attacking the Democrat party for inviting Bill and Hillary Clinton to speak at the DNC before setting her sights on Harris.
“Did you return the money Weinstein gave you? [Sen. Kamala Harris] How many predators bankroll you?” she tweeted.
Last year, McGowan called out Hillary Clinton over a report that the former Secretary of State's publicist told journalist Ronan Farrow that his probe into Harvey Weinstein's sexual misconduct was "a concern" for the Clintons.
“I knew that Hillary Clinton’s people were protecting the Monster,” McGowan wrote, referring to disgraced Hollywood mogul Weinstein.
