Pelosi: ‘Everything I Do is About the Children’
Pro-abortion Democrat makes contradictory remarks
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi claimed that everything she does is "about the children."
Speaker Pelosi made the remarks while speaking during an interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe."
“You know, everything I do is about the children,” Pelosi said while discussing negotiations over a new COVID-19 relief bill with the White House
“That’s the reason I – you know, having five children of my own, nine grandchildren,” she said.
“I worry about everyone's children in America, of course."
“I have advice for them whether they want it or not,” Pelosi added.
"And one of the things that is so terrible is in this epidemic because we’re saying we have to assault the virus, we have to defeat the virus, contain the virus, stop the spread, and that means we have to have testing, tracing, treatment, masks, spacing, all the rest of it,” the speaker added.
But there is one small problem with Pelosi's remarks.
Shes' a pro-abortion.
LifeSite News reported that Pelosi supports taxpayer-funded abortion-on-demand and recently blocked a bill to protect newborns from infanticide.
She also attempted to dismantle Trump's pro-life policies and restore funding cuts to Planned Parenthood.
In March this year, Pelosi was even caught trying to sneak loopholes for abortion funding into a bill for coronavirus measures.
Pelosi reportedly sought to include measures in the coronavirus economic stimulus plan that would potentially guarantee federal funding for abortion, according to multiple senior White House officials.
Besides abortion, the Democratic Speaker also blasted Trump's goal to reopen schools in the fall, accusing him of "messing with the health of our children" due to the coronavirus.
"The president and his administration are messing with the health of our children," Pelosi said on CNN's State of the Union.
