George Soros: 'Dangerous' Trump is Undermining America's Democracy
'Trump will turn out to be a transitory phenomenon,' the left-wing billionaire said

Left-wing globalist billionaire George Soros said President Donald Trump was "dangerous" during an interview on Wednesday, where he speculated the President would do “anything to remain in power.”
Soros, who in 2018 gave similar remarks saying Trump would "disappear" in 2020, told the Italian newspaper La Repubblica on Wednesday that the president was "undermining democracy."
“Even in the United States, a confidence trickster like Trump can be elected president and undermine democracy from within,” Soros said.
“But in the U.S. you have a great tradition of checks and balances and established rules," he added.
"And above all, you have the Constitution," Soros said.
"So I am confident that Trump will turn out to be a transitory phenomenon, hopefully ending in November," Soros predicted.

The billionaire warned Trump was "very dangerous,” before claiming “he’s fighting for his life and he will do anything to stay in power.”
In 2019, Soros said Trump and other nationalist leaders would soon be defeated when the "tide turns" in favor of globalists.
President Trump “is an aberration, and he is clearly putting his personal interests ahead of the national interests,” Soros told the NYT at the time.
“That’s a fact."

During an interview in May, the Open Society Foundations founder claimed Trump was self-destructing during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Donald Trump would like to be a dictator,” Soros told the Independent.
“But he cannot be one because there is a constitution in the United States that people still respect," Soros added.
"And it will prevent him from doing certain things. That does not mean that he will not try, because he is literally fighting for his life.”
“I will also say that I have put my faith in Trump to destroy himself, and he has exceeded my wildest expectations,” he added.
Last month, Soros announced he was pumping another $220 million into the radical Black Lives Matter organization.
"Much of Soros' money is going into efforts to defund the police and control 2020 voting systems," his foundation revealed.
During the 2020 election cycle, the billionaire also poured $52 million into political spending, according to Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings.
