Democrat Atlanta Mayor: 'Narcissist' Trump 'Has Done Nothing for African-Americans'
Keisha Lance Bottoms blasts President after Axios interview

Democratic Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms blasted President Donald Trump following his interview discussing recently deceased Rep. John Lewis.
The President noted Lewis’ efforts for civil rights while highlighting his own work for the black community, saying, “Nobody has done more for black Americans than I have.”
But Bottoms called Trump's claims “delusional” and rejected his contention he had done more or black Americans.
Bottoms said Trump “has done nothing for African-Americans," during CNN’s “New Day,”
“I’m disgusted by that,” Bottoms said of the Axios interview.
“And I’ve read Congressman Lewis’ essay and I wrote something from his essay, that I’ve kept on my desk: ‘Answer the highest calling of your heart and stand up for what you truly believe in.’"

"Donald Trump shows us time and time again the only thing he believes in is himself," she added.

"He doesn’t care anything about the American people, he doesn’t care anything about the history of this country," Bottoms continued.
"He doesn’t care anything about the future of this country.”
When Host Alisyn Camerota asked Bottoms, “What do you think about when President Trump says he personally has done more for black Americans than anyone else?”
Bottoms replied:
“He’s delusional,” Bottoms replied.

“He’s a narcissist, and he is delusional. The only person that believes that is him."
"He’s done nothing for African-Americans in this country, and to speak that in the same sentence as speaking of John Lewis is almost blasphemous.”
But Bottoms failed to back up any of her claims with any hard data, unlike Trump.
In August last year, Neon Nettle reported:
The unemployment rate for African-Americans between the ages of 16 and 19 plummeted to 17.7 percent, the lowest rate since government records began in the early 1970s.
According to the most recent data from the Department of Labor, a total of 762,000 young African-Americans had jobs in July.
In November, Neon Nettle also reported:
Black unemployment rates under President Donald Trump have tumbled to 5.4 percent this month, the lowest level since 1972, according to figures from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
According to the most recent data from the Department of Labor, a total of 762,000 young African-Americans had jobs in July.
But October also set a record for black men above the age of 20, with a 5.1 percent rate.
The last record low of 5.3 percent was in 1973. October's unemployment rate for black women over 20 was 4.8 percent.
