Mike Ditka Tells Players Disrespecting National Anthem - 'Get Hell Out of Country’
Legendary NFL coach blasts those kneeling before game
Iconic NFL coach Mike Ditka blasted athletes refusing to stand in respect for the national anthem before a game saying they should “get the hell out of the country.”
During an interview with TMZ Sports, Ditka criticized athletes demonstrating against the country that has given them so much.
“If you can’t respect our national anthem, get the hell out of the country,” Ditka said.
“That’s the way I feel. Of course, I’m old fashioned, so I’m only going to say what I feel.”
Although the media narrative claims anthem kneeling has nothing to do with disrespecting the country, Colin Kaepernick’s own actions have proven those assertions to be false.
Besides the former 49er convince Nike to cancel distribution of a special 4th of July themed shoe bearing the “Betsy Ross Flag,” he used the same occasion in 2020 to declared it a “celebration of white supremacy.”
Black ppl have been dehumanized, brutalized, criminalized + terrorized by America for centuries, & are expected to join your commemoration of “independence”, while you enslaved our ancestors. We reject your celebration of white supremacy & look forward to liberation for all. ✊🏾 pic.twitter.com/YCD2SYlgv4— Colin Kaepernick (@Kaepernick7) July 4, 2020
Last month, President Donald Trump reaffirmed his stance on the athletes’ kneeling protests during the playing of the national anthem.
"Could it be even remotely possible that in Roger Goodell’s rather interesting statement of peace and reconciliation, he was intimating that it would now be O.K. for the players to KNEEL, or not to stand, for the National Anthem, thereby disrespecting our Country & our Flag?

“You don’t protest against the flag and you don’t protest against this country who’s given you the opportunities to make a living playing a sport that you never thought would happen,” Ditka says.
“So, I don’t want to hear all the crap.”
In 2021, Ditka is set to take over as Chairman of the X League, a women’s tackle football league
“These women are pretty and good looking and want to knock the crap out of each other — we’ll see how it works!” he said.
