Trump: Joe Biden Has an 'Obligation' to Take Cognitive Test

President Donald Trump said Democratic nominee Joe Biden has an “obligation” to take a cognitive test to prove to voters he’s “sharp” enough to enter office and deal with foreign adversaries.
“Honestly, he should take the test,” Mr. Trump said, per Fox News.
"In a way, he has an obligation to, because you have to be able to show this country that the person that we’re picking as leader is sharp.”
"We’re dealing with people that want to do very bad things to us, if they had the chance. And you have to be sharper than them.”
Trump performed well in the cognitive test about a year ago, which included repeating five names given to him in order.
“It’s actually not that easy. But, for me, it was easy,” the president said.

“I have, like, a good memory, because I’m cognitively there,” Trump added.
Trump said Biden “should take that test, because something’s going on.”
“And I say this with respect. I mean, it’s going to probably happen to all of us, right?” the president said.
“But we can’t take a chance of it happening. When you’re dealing with Russia, when you’re — and there’s nobody been tougher to Russia than me, nobody been tougher to China than me," Trump added.
"I can tell you right now, they would love to see Joe Biden, instead of Trump. …We have to have somebody that is sharp," he added.
"If this person isn’t sharp — because, I can tell you, President Xi [of China] is sharp. President Putin [of Russia] is sharp. [Turkish President] Erdogan is sharp," the presdient stated.

"You don’t have any non-sharp people that you’re dealing with. And we can’t have somebody that’s not 100 percent.”
Last month, Biden claimed he had already taken a cognitive functioning test, but failed to produce evidence of the test.
Doug McKelway asked Biden oo Fox News if he had been tested “for some degree of cognitive decline?”
"I’ve been tested and I’m constantly tested,” Biden responded.
“All you’ve got to do is watch me, and I can hardly wait to compare my cognitive capability to the cognitive capability of the man I’m running against,” he said.

Late last year, Biden released his medical records, but the cognitive health reports were absent.
There was no mention of mental fitness, despite it being constantly called into question due to ongoing and frequent gaffes.
Biden, in the past, has admitted to struggling with formulating words when he's tired.
