Trump: Mail-In Voting Will Lead To ‘Most Corrupt Election’ In American History
President warns about dangers of vote by mail

President Donald Trump warned on Tuesday that mail-in voting, which is currently being pushed by the Democrats, could lead to the most "corrupt election" in US history.
The president said mail-in voting could jeopardize the accuracy of the coming November election.
Trump wrote on Twitter:
“Mail-In Voting, unless changed by the courts, will lead to the most CORRUPT ELECTION in our Nation’s History! #RIGGEDELECTION."

Since the coronavirus pandemic broke out in March, both Republicans and Democrats have clashed over funding for mail-in voting.

Trump has repeatedly warned about the danger of nationwide mail-in voting, which he warned could lead to surge in voter fraud.
According to a poll by the Republican National Committee (RNC), 62% of American voters believe there is fraud in elections, while 57% are worried mail-in voting could corrupt the integrity of U.S. elections.
But the Democrats have continued to push ahead with their vote-by-mail, citing health concerns from the coronavirus pandemic.
In May, Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was sued by House Republicans for defying the U.S. Constitution by pushing proxy voting in order to help the nationwide vote-by-mail campaign.
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) filed the lawsuit to block the House of Representatives from allowing lawmakers to vote on behalf of up to ten other members of Congress as a designated proxy voter.

Pelosi also introduced a $3.6 billion bill for the sole reason for pushing mail-in voting through.
In June, Attorney General William Barr backed Trump's firm stance against mail-in voting, warning it “absolutely” opens the flood gates to fraud.
Barr admitted he was concerned mail-in voting would undercut "the confidence in the integrity" of the US voting system.
“Well, it absolutely opens the floodgates to fraud," Barr said.
Trump also warned of millions of mail-in ballots being printed in foreign countries that would be "rigged."
In June, the president argued that foreign countries would attempt to taint the 2020 election by printing the ballots.
Trump tweeted:
"RIGGED 2020 ELECTION: MILLIONS OF MAIL-IN BALLOTS WILL BE PRINTED BY FOREIGN COUNTRIES, AND OTHERS. IT WILL BE THE SCANDAL OF OUR TIMES!"

Democrats have been pushing for mail-in voting since April, with Hollywood elites like Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson joining former First Lady Michelle Obama in throwing support behind the campaign.
