Snoop Dogg Blasts Candace Owens and Other Black Conservatives for Supporting Trump

Fading rapper Snoop Dogg has attacked a number of leading black supporters of President Donald Trump, labeling them as “The Coon Bunch” - a slur used to describe black conservatives.
The rapper called out prominent names such as Candace Owens, Herman Cain, Paris Dennard, and Angela Stanton.
Snoop Dogg posted a meme to his Instagram, which was in the same style as the 70s American sitcom The Brady Bunch, but with the name change to “The Coon Bunch.”
The term “coon” and “Uncle Tom" are slurs used by black Americans since the 19th century to describe black conservatives.
The term is used against black people who have supposedly 'sold out' to white people or who reject liberal thinking and the Democrat Party.

Snoop Dogg’s meme also targets these other black conservatives:

- The Hodge twins
- David Harris, Jr
- Diamond & Silk
The meme also features a picture of a raccoon.
Many of the names have also been openly critical of the Black Lives Matter movement.

Last month, Owens described the BLM movement as a trojan horse designed to alter American society permanently.
"Black Lives Matter is a Marxist movement disguised as racial unrest,” according to Owens.
"We fight now, or lose America to violent communism,” she added.
"These thugs are delivering ultimatums to businesses & schools: Do as we say, or burn,” Owens adds.
Snoop Dogg is known to be openly critical of President Donald Trump and has called out fellow musicians like Kanye West for being “brainwashed" for supporting him.
In June the rapper took aim at Trump supporters saying:
"If you voted for him, I don't have no problem with that."
"But if you're still with him, f--k you."
