Official GOP Resolution Calls for Democratic Party to Change Name Over Racist Past
Democrats called out over historic links to brutal slavery and racism

Over the past few months, the Democratic Party has supported calls for historic American monuments to be torn down because of links to racism and slavery.
Their mission to remove American history may need to start within their own party, however.
One example is from last month when House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) failed to condemn her father for his role in erecting a so-called "racist" Confederate statue as Democrats called for "offensive" monuments to be toppled.
The Democrats' legacy of “systemic racism," which includes Jim Crow segregation and brutal slavery, is another example of their hypocrisy.
But now a resolution by the Republican Party of Connecticut’s central committee has cornered the Democrats to face their racist past.
On the same day, as the Christopher Columbus statue was removed in the Nutmeg State’s capital of Hartford, the GOP resolution was filed.

The Connecticut GOP’s resolution also made it clear that Columbus's 'white supremacy' had nothing on the American Democratic Party.
The resolution gave a list of the Democratic Party's links to racism:
Was the driving force behind the Confederacy’s secession from the Union — to protect the institution of slavery;
Tried desperately to block the “Reconstruction Amendments” to the Constitution, which were written to ensure the slaves freed by the Civil War had full rights of citizenship;
Were behind the organized terror of the Ku Klux Klan in the Civil War’s aftermath and instituted the rigid segregation of the Jim Crow era.
Was opposed to the civil rights movement even into post-World War II America.
State Republican Party Chairman J.R. Romano said:
“If we are to hold Christopher Columbus accountable for over 500 years after the fact, it’s our duty and our moral obligation to hold the Democratic Party accountable."

Conservative radio host Mark Levin also highlighted the fact that the Democratic Party is practically synonymous with the oppression of black Americans.
“If we are to purge all vestiges of slavery and racism, it seems to me the most obvious target must be the Democrat Party. It stood for slavery and segregation and birthed the KKK,” he said.
“Any sporadically redeeming policies of the more recent past are of no relevance. It’s in that party’s DNA, as they say.”
Democrats also held a place of reference for former Ku Klux Klansman, Sen. Robert C. Byrd of West Virginia well in the 21st century.
Byrd held the post of “Exalted Cyclops” in the racist group before leaving in the 1940s.
The modern Democratic Party is now grappling to win black votes and unseat President Donald Trump by pandering to the Black Lives Matter movement.
Ironically the Democrats are now trying to defeat its political opponents, the Republican party who are founded on abolishing slavery.

Black conservative activist, Candace Owens said last week that BLM movement is the Democrats' trojan horse to erase their racist past.
Owens said the Black Lives Matter movement was a trojan horse designed to alter American society permanently.
"Black Lives Matter is a Marxist movement disguised as racial unrest,” according to Owens.
"We fight now, or lose America to violent communism,” she warned.
