20% of Democrats ‘Think Biden Has Dementia,’ 38% of All Voters Agree, Poll Shows
Growing consensus on Biden's failing health is fuelled by gaffes

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has not instilled much confidence with likely voters, or even his own party, regarding his ability to govern due to his questionable mental health.
Since Biden's decision to run against President Donald Trump, his campaign has been plagued with embarrassing gaffes.
Concerns about Biden's apparent deteriorating mental health have also been reflected in new data from Rasmussen Reports, which revealed that 20% of Democrats believe he suffers from dementia.
The data also shows a much larger Republicans agree, at 66%.
But overall, 38% believe Biden has the debilitating disease.
The growing consensus on Biden's failing health is fuelled by his misstatements during speeches and Zoom events.

The Rasmussen analysis said that seniors are the age group most likely to think Biden is suffering from dementia.
According to a Zogby poll, 55% believe that the former vice president is in the early stages of dementia.
“Right now, voters have questions concerning Biden's mental health and stamina,” said the Zogby analysis.
Rasmussen also asked likely voters believed Biden already had dementia.
“Sixty-one percent of all voters believe it is important for Biden to address the dementia issue publicly, with 41% who say it is ‘Very Important,’” said Rasmussen.
Neon Nettle reported last week that Biden falsely claimed that "over 120 million" people have died from COVID-19, immediately before the live stream of his remarks was cut off.

Former Vice President Biden was delivering remarks on health care in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, when he made the major flub.
"What people drastically underestimate is the impact on the medical health of people who, now, everything is complicated,” Biden told supporters.
"Not only is the healthcare piece, but people don’t have a job, people don’t have anywhere to go."
Biden's Gaffes have not gone unnoticed by the Trump administration.
In March, Trump posted an embarrassing video compilation of Biden's struggles on the campaign trail.
The video begins with CNN’s Ana Cabrera saying, “Obama warned Biden’s aides to make sure didn’t embarrass himself.”

Biden also falsely claimed that guns had killed 150 million people in the past 13 years.
“One hundred fifty million people have been killed since 2007,” Biden said at the time.
