Alyssa Milano Claims Russia Helping Trump 'Target' Her After 'Blackface' Emerges
Says Putin and the right are 'weaponizing cancel culture' after old video resurfaces
On Saturday, an old video resurfaced that shows far-left actress Alyssa Milano wearing makeup to darken her skin, triggering accusations of "blackface" to spread online.
Shortly after, Milano defended the years-old parody video wherein she darkens her face to mock reality TV star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi of “Jersey Shore” fame.
“The right wing trolls are using a still from this funny or die video where a [sic] parodied Snookie from Jersey Shore,” Milano posted on Twitter.
“If you see the screen grab that they are using maybe you can shut them down with a link to the entire video.”

On Monday, still refusing to back down, Milano continued to defend her actions by peddling a bizarre conspiracy theory about how the video has now emerged.
Digging deep into the leftist playbook for a diversion tactic, Milano plucked out a Democrat classic: Russia did it. And Trump, of course.
"Cancel culture is being weaponized by the right/Putin," the "Charmed" actress-turned-activist blasted, without evidence, on Twitter.
"Take notice of who they are targeting & what is trending," she tweeted, referring to Russian President Vladimir Putin and President Donald Trump.
"Are they trying to hurt Trump's most vocal critics? Yup."

"The misinformation campaign has begun," she continued.
"Be vigilant in what you post on social media.
"Truth still matters," she added, without a shred of irony.
Milano was seemingly still upset after critics discovered the old comedy sketch where she darkened her face in order to imitate reality TV star "Snooki" from the MTV franchise.

She denied that her makeup was comparable to blackface and lashed out at her detractors.
So far, she has not produced any evidence that Putin was helping spread the "cancel culture" narratives in the United States by embarrassing celebrities who criticize Trump.
Polizzi, a.k.a “Snooki,” was born in Chile and raised by Italian adoptive parents.
The reality star identified as Chilean until 2014, when DNA testing revealed her mixed ethnicities of “Northern India, gypsy, Iberian American, South Asian, East Asian, Middle Eastern, and Jewish with roots in North Western Croatia, Macedonia, Slovakia, Russia, and Spain,” according to Newsmax.
