Tucker Carlson Calls Rioters the 'Armed Militia of the Democratic Party’
'These are definitely not protesters. They’re not even rioters,' Carlson said

Fox News's Tucker Carlson blasted the rioters toppling statues and burning down businesses saying they are "not protesters" but "armed militia of the Democratic Party."
Carlson branded the rioters, who have caused nationwide destruction following the death of George Floyd, as “truly and utterly stupid."
Carlson said that while the rioters may be dangerous, “these people are idiots.”
“These are definitely not protesters. They’re not even rioters," Carlson stated.
"They are the armed militia of the Democratic Party," he said.
"They’re working to overthrow our system of government," Carlson asserted.

Tucker's comments seemed to reference last week's comments from BLM founder Patrisse Cullors who admitted the "goal" of Black Lives Matter is to remove President Donald Trump from the White House.
"They’re trying to put themselves in power," Carlson said.
“These people are idiots. For real," Carlson said, referring to the nationwide destruction.
"The angry children you watch set fire to Wendy’s and topple statues and scream at you on television day after day are truly and utterly stupid," he added.
"There’s probably never been a dumber group gathered in one place in all of American history.”

Carlson also noted the rioter's ignorance towards history after they tore down monuments to people who served the very causes they claim to be fighting for.
“They know nothing. They couldn’t tell you who George Washington was. They don’t know when the Civil War was fought – probably not even to the century," Carlson said.

"They say they oppose racism, and then they rip down monuments to Abolitionists.
"They don’t see the contradiction in that because they have no idea who the Abolitionists were.”
Last week, the statue of Col. Hans Christian Heg, a Norwegian immigrant who died fighting against slavery, was vandalized before being torn down by Black Lives Matter protesters in Madison, Wisconsin.
Later, the historic Christopher Columbus statue, which was also torn down, despite it sculpted by an Italian immigrant and was presented as a gift for Minnesota’s Italian-Americans.
Then the memorial in California, which was dedicated to survivors of the Holocaust, was toppled and smashed by vandals.
