Black Lives Matter: Jesus Statues are ‘White Supremacy’ - ‘Tear Them Down’
Activist Shaun King calls for destruction of Christian churches

Controversial Black Lives Matter activist Shaun King called for the destruction of statues of Jesus Christ and Christian churches, arguing they were forms of “racist propaganda” and "white supremacy."
King, who has a reputation for pushing false claims, claimed that statues of Jesus portray him as a “white European” and should be torn down.
The leftist activist took to Twitter on Monday to promote his bizarre solution in combating racism.
“Yes, I think the statues of the white European they claim is Jesus should also come down,” wrote King.
“They are a form of white supremacy. Always have been," he added.
"In the Bible, when the family of Jesus wanted to hide and blend in, guess where they went? EGYPT! Not Denmark. Tear them down.”

They are a form of white supremacy.
Always have been.
In the Bible, when the family of Jesus wanted to hide, and blend in, guess where they went?
EGYPT!
Not Denmark.
Tear them down.

King also called for the destruction of stained glass windows and churches that depict "white" Biblical figures.
“Yes. All murals and stained glass windows of white Jesus, and his European mother, and their white friends should also come down,” he continued.
“They are a gross form white supremacy. Created as tools of oppression. Racist propaganda. They should all come down.”
Yes.

All murals and stained glass windows of white Jesus, and his European mother, and their white friends should also come down.
They are a gross form white supremacy.
Created as tools of oppression.
Racist propaganda.
They should all come down.
King, in the past, attacked Christian celebrations like Christmas and Easter, calling them “tools of white supremacy.”

The activist, who starred in Sen. Bernie Sanders’ (I-VT) former presidential campaign ad as an official surrogate, describes himself as "journalist" and “civil rights activist."
King denied lying about his race when he applied for and received a scholarship from Oprah Winfrey to attend Morehouse College, a historically black school.
King's remarks come as Black Lives Matter activists in the UK demanded that the statue of Mahatma Gandhi be torn down, claiming he was "fascist, racist, sexual predator."
The recent wave of BLM protests saw rioters topple a statue of George Washington in Portland before draping it in a burning American flag last week.
The rioters converged on NE Sandy Boulevard, and NE 57th Avenue at around ten p.m.KOIN News reported that some of the rioters wrapped the statue’s head in an American flag before setting it on fire.
