Jim Carrey: ‘Traitor Trump May Be First US President to Defect’
Actor floats Russia 'conspiracy theory' on Twitter

Fading comedian Jim Carrey warned his Twitter followers that "traitor" President Donald Trump could be the first American president to defect to a foreign country if he loses the election.
The 58-year-old actor floated the conspiracy theory along with another one of his "political" artwork sketches.
Carrey's latest painting seems to show Russian President Vladimir Putin holding Air Force One in his hands.
“Be wary of diplomatic missions to Moscow prior to the Nov elections,” Carrey tweeted.
“Given the list of possible indictments he faces, Traitor Trump may be the first American President to defect.”

The actor, without any evidence to back up his claims, suggested Trump will make preliminary trips to Russia to defect if Joe Biden wins the election in November.

The actor, who has seemingly disregarded the fact that Special Counsel Robert Mueller found zero evidence of Russian collusion, suggested Trump may be facing indictments if he loses the election.
Carrey, last year made it clear he has officially "washed his hands" of Robert Mueller, despite him being a hero amongst many Democrats and liberals just months prior.
"You let us down Mr. Mueller," Carrey tweeted.
"You saw obstruction and washed your hands of it. Not indicting a President is a memo, not a law. You let a tyrant skate with 'I don’t remember.' You gave the enemy a leg up. Live with that...'PROSECUTOR.'"
Carrey recently stated that he would no longer be sharing such political paintings.
"To me, that was like a time, and it's been a time, where I just wanted to be the lighthouse that was saying, 'Hey, stay off the rocks, you're headed for the rocks,'" he told Yahoo Entertainment in January.
“We're still headed for the rocks, but I've decided, 'You understand my message, I don't need to be steeped in it anymore.' I think after a while … you get stuck in that kind of stuff."

But Carrey proved his words were empty when he resorted back to his old ways by attacking Trump through artwork.
Last month, Carrey shared an image of the Grim Reaper giving Trump the middle finger, in an effort to suggest he was jealous of the president’s coronavirus death toll.

The actor also posted another painting of Trump dressed as the mayor from the 1975 movie “Jaws,” demanding that people get in the water even though it’s unsafe.
“Trump is willing to risk countless lives to save his economic record," Carrey said.
"He has fully become the mayor from Jaws,” the actor wrote.
