Biden: Military Will Remove Trump from White House if He Refuses to Leave
Former Vice President says Trump is 'going to try and steal this election'

Joe Biden said if President Donald Trump loses the election in November and refuses to leave the White House, he expects the military to remove him.
The Democratic presidential nominee told The Daily Show host Trevor Noah that Trump "going to try and steal this election."
Biden cited Trump's claim that mail-in ballots lead to voter fraud, something the Democrats have been fiercely pushing citing health concerns from physical voting because of the coronavirus.
Last month, Trump warned against "very dangerous" mail-in voting for the upcoming 2020 election in November.
Trump highlighted the Democrats' House spending bill, which includes funds for mail-in voting for elections held during the coronavirus pandemic.

“Voting by mail is very dangerous because people can grab them; people can take that proxy, sign a name," Trump said.

Biden was then asked if he had thought about what would happen if he wins and Trump resists leaving the White House.
"Yes, I have," he said.
Biden then touched on retired military leaders who have spoken out against Trump over his threat to use military force to quell unrest in protests following the death of George Floyd.

Biden also noted "so many rank-and-file military personnel saying, 'Whoa, we're not a military state. This is not who we are.'"
Biden then said:
"I promise you: I am absolutely convinced they will escort him from the White House with great dispatch."
Military leaders who have criticized Trump include retired Marine Gen. Jim Mattis and John Allen, a retired four-star general in the Marine Corps.
Biden also touched on police reform in the light of the Black Lives Matter protests saying, "Donald Trump didn’t invent racism, but he sure has promoted it."
