Rose McGowan: ‘Joe Biden is Not a Black Savior’
#MeToo activist says former vice president is not solution to racism

Hollywood actor and #MeToo activist Rose McGowan blasted Joe Biden by sharing a pair of tweets suggesting that the former vice president nor the Democrats are the solutions to racism.
Though McGowan has been vocal on social media following the death of George Floyd, she took issue with voting for the Democratic Party to "fix everything."
“Joe Biden is NOT a black savior,” she said.
“A wolf in sheep’s clothing is still a wolf. Know your enemy.”

The tweet accompanied a GIF of a wolf growling at other wolves to stay behind it.

McGowan also shared another tweet pleading for people to “overthrow the system.”
“Racism did not start with Trump. Racism is why Trump is."
"The Democrats have NOT solved poverty, mental health, systemic misogyny & systemic racism. DEMAND MORE. OVERTHROW THE SYSTEM,” she wrote.

But McGowan's remarks echo that of Trump, who last week taunted Biden reminding for his murky past supporting the controversial 1994 crime bill, which incarcerated high levels of African-Americans.

“Sleepy Joe Biden’s 1994 Crime Bill was a total disaster,” Trump wrote.
“It was mass incarceration for Black people, many of them innocent. I did Criminal Justice Reform, something Obama & Biden didn’t even try to do - & couldn’t do even if they did try. Biden can never escape his Crime Bill.”

Last month, Biden said African Americans "ain't black" if they "have a problem figuring out" if they should vote for him.
In April, McGowan blasted Biden over his refusal to respond to sexual assault allegations recently levied by a former staffer.
On Tuesday, actress McGowan blasted former Vice President Biden as a "creep" and demanded that he "answer Tara Reade," his accuser.
