Maxine Waters: 'Trump Is A Dangerous Example For Children'
Democrats blast Trump for not wearing face mask
Anti-Trump Democrat Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) claimed on Sunday that President Donald Trump is “a dangerous example for children” after he refused to wear a mask amid the coronavirus pandemic.
“Trump is a dangerous example for children and those who tend to follow him," the Los Angeles lawmaker wrote on Twitter.
“Not wearing a mask and not social distancing is dangerous. Do not follow his example," she added.
"Protect yourself. Coronavirus kills!” she continued.

Maybe this ignoramus doesn’t care, but you should care about yourself!— Maxine Waters (@RepMaxineWaters) May 25, 2020
The Democrat concluded her Memorial Day weekend message by calling the president an “ignoramus.”
“Maybe this ignoramus doesn’t care, but you should care about yourself!” Waters wrote.
California’s 43rd Congressional District’s representative is a frequent critic of Trump, whose tirades included accusing Trump and others are controlling the nation’s stockpile of personal protective equipment for health care workers.
Waters also accused Trump of “dismantling” the United States Postal Service to stop the vote-by-mail plan currently being pushed by the Democrats.
“Trump owns AG Barr; Pompeo at State Dept; & Kushner at FEMA, controlling PPE. NOW he’s undermined the US Postal Service & installed a GOP fundraiser to run it,” she tweeted.
“Control of the USPS is control of vote by mail! HELL NO! We’re not going to let Trump get away w/ dismantling the USPS!”

Waters also said the President was being dishonest about taking the antimalarial drug hydroxychloroquine, claiming Trump was trying to make money from the decades-old FDA approved medication.
“Trump claims to be taking #Hydroxychloroquine, but why should we believe him when he lies all the time?” she wrote.
“Maybe it’s just a good marketing job to get others to take it so that he can profit from his investment. Latest info on #hydroxychloroquine is that it causes death, SOOOO??” the Democrat added.
The Washington Post recently debunked claims that Trump had a financial interest in the French drugmaker Sanofi which makes hydroxychloroquine.
The Post’s Philip Bump wrote:
“[T]he three trusts each hold between $1,001 and $15,000 in the Dodge & Cox fund. In other words, Trump’s stake in Sanofi from each trust is between $33 and $495 — or between about $100 and $1,500 in total."
Trump announced last week he was taking hydroxychloroquine as a preventative measure.
Many people have credited hydroxychloroquine for saving their lives, despite the media's demonization of the drug.
Last month, California Sen. Kamala Harris accused Trump of being a "drug pusher" for supporting the widely-praised malaria drug, hydroxychloroquine.
“He’s got to stop … We don’t want a drug pusher for president,” Harris said.
