Andy Biggs Accuses Obama of 'Coup' - 'Something We've Not Seen in American History'
Arizona Republican says events should 'tell us everything' about Obama

Leader of the House Freedom Caucus, Rep. Andy Biggs, accused former President Barack Obama of attempting to perform a coup against President Donald Trump.
During an appearance on Lou Dobbs Tonight, Biggs argued that Obama knowingly conspired with his officials to thwart Trump while investigating then-incoming national security adviser Michael Flynn whose case was dropped last week.
Joining the Arizona Republican was fellow GOP Rep. Jim Jordan, who highlighted a series of damming events in January 2017 that should "tell us everything" about the Obama administration.
“Those three weeks in January tell us everything, and the president is exactly right,” the Ohio lawmaker said.
“If it can happen to him, imagine what they can do to you, to Andy, to me, and more importantly, to any American citizen," he added.
"That’s why this is so darn wrong.”

Dobbs noted that Jordan "obviously believes" Obama was "responsible for the conspiracy against this president," and asked if he agreed with Jordan's conclusion.
“Well, I think all the evidence — Jim gave you a great timeline — but all the evidence does point to coming right out of the top from President Obama on down,” Biggs said.
“This really was a conspiracy to do something that we’ve not seen in American history, and that was to actually perform a coup," he continued.
"That’s really what this was. I mean, you can’t get to it any more succinctly than that," he added.
"This was an attempt to undermine the election of the people," he continued.
"That’s a coup. And they were abusing their power, abusing the process, and they were — yeah, they were using the media.”

On Sunday, Ex-National Security Advisor Flynn’s attorney, Sidney Powell, said that Obama and the FBI were part of a plot to set up her client.
Powell cited the recently released-documents - that FBI agents didn’t tell Flynn that his answers could be construed as criminal if inaccurate or incomplete, or that he was even under investigation.
“These agents specifically schemed and planned with each other how to not tip him off, that he was even the person being investigated,” she said.
"So they kept him relaxed and unguarded deliberately as part of their effort to set him up and frame him,” the lawyer stated.
Obama responded to Flynn's case being dropped last week, saying the exoneration means “the rule of law is at risk.”
Meanwhile, Trump signaled that an investigation into Obama might be on the cards.
Trump challenged Obama for investigating him and his campaign before leaving the White House.
President Trump shared several messages on Twitter that criticized the ex-POTUS.
“He got caught, OBAMAGATE!” Trump tweeted.
