Trump Hints at 'ObamaGate' Investigation: 'He Got Caught'
President signals probe into ex-POTUS may be soon coming

President Donald Trump has signaled that an investigation into Barack Obama may be on the cards.
On Sunday, the presdient repeatedly challenged Obama for investigating him and his campaign before leaving the White House.
President Trump shared several messages on Twitter that criticized the ex-POTUS.
“He got caught, OBAMAGATE!” Trump tweeted.

The president was seemingly responding to reports that Obama led a conspiracy against Trump and members of his campaign team.
Trump was triumphant after the Department of Justice's decision to drop its case against his former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn.
The president was also angered at his predecessor, however.

President Trump displayed his anger toward Obama by retweeting several "ObamaGate" memes on Twitter.

Other anti-Obama memes the president shared noted that “Watergate will look like a parking ticket!”
One image the president shared featured a picture of Trump with the words: “Hope you had fun investigating me. Now it’s my turn.”
“The biggest political crime in American History by far!” Trump wrote while sharing a post from pundit Buck Sexton.

The president also shared messages critical of "deep state libs" and the FBI.
“Deep state libs got away with this sham for years, and the process was a big part of the punishment for Flynn,” wrote Sexton.
“Until FBI conspirators are in prison, it’s not justice.”
The president shared a message from Republican Rep. Jim Jordan, noting Obama’s IRS targeted Tea Party organizations before the 2012 elections and the FBI targeted President Trump before the 2016 election.
“…And we caught them and their illegal activities!” Trump wrote.

Last week, Attorney General William Barr’s Justice Department dismissed the case against Flynn, Trump's first national security adviser.
The case was seen as the key prosecution from Robert Mueller’s investigation into the Trump campaign.
Trump, along with other Republicans, has highlighted the move as an example of a Democrat-manufactured plot to remove him from office.
Trump retweeted a post from Eli Lake, a columnist at Bloomberg, who said he has been reviewing the interview transcripts that were recently released in the collusion investigation.
Lake wrote, “It’s now clear why every Republican on [Rep. Adam Schiff’s] committee in 2019 called for his resignation.
"He knew the closed-door witnesses didn’t support his innuendo and fakery on Russia collusion.”

As Neon Nettle previously reported, Flynn’s attorney, Sidney Powell, said Sunday that Obama, other top administration officials, and the FBI were part of a plot to set up her client.
Speaking during an interview on Fox News’s "Sunday Morning Futures," Powell cited the revelation revealed in recently released-documents - that FBI agents didn’t tell Flynn that his answers could be construed as criminal if inaccurate or incomplete, or that he was even under investigation.
“These agents specifically schemed and planned with each other how to not tip him off, that he was even the person being investigated,” she said.
FBI agents conspired with each other in order to mask their investigation and "frame" Flynn, according to Powell.
“So they kept him relaxed and unguarded deliberately as part of their effort to set him up and frame him,” the lawyer stated.
Trump later tweeted, “OBAMAGATE,” indicating that he believes that Obama worked to undermine his presidency.
