Trump on Newsom's Mail-in Voting Decision: Dems 'Trying to Steal Another Election'
President shred California's decision to send residents a mail-in ballot

President Donald Trump blasted California's decision to send all of its residents a mail-in ballot for the upcoming election noting the Democrats "fought like crazy" to get it.
The President said the California election would be "rigged" after Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom announced plans to send over 20 million voters a ballot in the mail.
Trump tweeted:
"So in California, the Democrats, who fought like crazy to get all mail in only ballots, and succeeded, have just opened a voting booth in the most Democrat area in the State."
"They are trying to steal another election. It’s all rigged out there. These votes must not count. SCAM!"

The news measures, which have been pushed by various Democrats and even George Soros funded groups, were adopted to adapt to coronavirus concerns.

Some experts claim the virus will return in a "very acute second wave" this fall, which could affect in-person voting.
Trump and Republicans blasted the mail-in voting push, arguing it could lead to "tremendous potential for voter fraud."
Mail-in-voting would allow large parts of the voting population to participate through the mail.
Last month, Failed Democratic Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams claimed Trump was "afraid" of allowing a mail-in vote for the November election.

Abrams said Trump is against a vote-by-mail scheme because he "is an illegitimate president" who "should not be in office."
"And anytime a leader is afraid of people speaking their minds and making their selections, he is illegitimate and should not hold office."
On Friday, Democrat lawmakers in Michigan pushed for a radical mail-in voting scheme to replace traditional in-person voting in the state.
Democratic State Sen. Jeff Irwin introduced a new bill seeking to establish a universal vote-by-mail system in Michigan.
Irwin's proposal, Senate Bill 909, also aims to end in-person voting at precincts altogether.
