Trump Video Mocking Obama & Biden Smashes Viewership of Obama's Original Endorsement
Trump's video racked up 10.3 million views within roughly 13 hours
President Donald Trump had the last laugh with his hilarious parody video mocking Barack Obama.
Trump's video shredded Obama's recent endorsement of Joe Biden and racked up more views within just hours than Obama's original 12-minute address did in a whole week.
After remaining on the sidelines for months, Obama endorsed Biden after all his rivals withdrew from the presidential race.
The highly-publicized endorsement has received 10.2 million since being posted last Tuesday.
But Trump's video racked up 10.3 million views within roughly 13 hours, leaving Obama's in the dust.
Trump's video showed Obama with his head doctored onto someone else's body, shrugging off Democratic nominee Joe Biden's awkward comments.
The video parodies an Allstate commercial, which shows insurance company's spokesman Dennis Haysbert watching a basketball game before a commercial of Haysbert advertising Allstate appears on the screen.
At this point, he shrugs at his friends.
The original ad Haysbert's friends urge him to change the channel, but when he does, there is another Allstate ad starring himself.
"The kids used to come up and reach in the pool and rub my leg down, so it was straight and then watch the hair come back up again," Biden says in the fake ad.
"I learned about kids jumping on my lap, and I loved kids jumping on my lap."
Although the ad is fake, the quote is real.
In 2017, Biden went off-script and launched into several confused rambles, including talking about children touching his leg in a swimming pool.
The video ad ends with Obama shrugging and saying "what" as his friends look at him just as Haysbert does in the original Allstate commercial.
Here is Obama's endorsement of Biden:
“Choosing Joe to be my vice president was one of the best decisions I ever made, and he became a close friend. And I believe Joe has all the qualities we need in a president right now."
The former President added:
“Joe has the character and the experience to guide us through one of our darkest times and heal us through a long recovery."
"And I know he’ll surround himself with good people – experts, scientists, military officials who actually know how to run the government and care about doing a good job running the government."
