Nancy Pelosi Snaps: Trump's Handling Of Coronavirus Is ‘Almost Sinful’
House Speaker blasts president on COVID-19
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi took another vicious swipe at President Donald Trump, describing his handling of the coronavirus pandemic “almost sinful.”
Pelosi made the remarks to the Democratic House members, according to Politico.
“The more misrepresentations he puts out there, the more it obscures the truth,” Pelosi said during a phone call.
“We have to insist upon the truth — what they’re saying is not knowledge, is not facts, is not real.”
Currently, the contents of a second coronavirus relief bill are still being discussed by Republicans in the Senate and House.
Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer accused Republicans of “posturing” on relief.
“We have real problems facing this country, and it’s time for the Republicans to quit the political posturing by proposing bills they know will not pass either chamber and get serious and work with us towards a solution,” their statement read.
The Democrats also have a wish list of progressive demands for the next coronavirus stimulus bill.
Unsurprisingly, the far left proposals are as follows:
- Relief money for illegal aliens
- Early prison release for jailed criminals
- Abortion funding
- Permanent housing guarantees
- Mail-in voting for elections
- Minimum wage hikes and more union access, and an extensive national disease surveillance program.

The proposals are being pushed by progressive organizations for Democrats, which insist there should be at least as large as the $2.2 trillion CARES Act.
Additionally, the Democratic Party think tank, The Center for American Progress (CAP), gathered its wish list for the next recovery legislation during the coronavirus.
CAP is telling lawmakers that the pandemic “requires Congress to significantly expand the measures included in the CARES Act and other COVID-19 packages to reflect the expected magnitude and duration of the disruption.”
Moreover, there are several groups funded by billionaire George Soros that are pushing for mail-in voting ahead of this year's elections.
